I was browsing your base race thread the other day and I was marveling at how smooth your shading is, but this is a complete new level of mastery. I'm just zooming in and out on it and I can't believe how effective those shapes are.
The folds! They look lovely and truly make the dress stand out, a pattern would have been possibly too much, considering how elegant this dress already looks. The scarce accessories are a nice touch without getting too much attention from her dress and hair. I love how you included loose strands on her hair, but they're not so bold as too look tangled or out of place. I love this doll!
I'm particularly fond of your doll for the third base, Laona: the neon colour for her leggings, the softer hues for her top and her soft hair. Such great quality for a casual doll. And so realistic! I need to take a closer look at your dolls and see if I manage to learn something from it
That one is favourite of mine too. I was watching pyro do her base race thing and she kept saying to do something new, try a new technique, use the biggest brush possible to get it done. So i tried. Its not as clean as i like but it does the trick
